A bicyclist was left in critical condition after being struck by a car in Corona Thursday, according to police.
A 38-year-old man was riding his bike when a car stuck him at the intersection of 114th Street and 34th Ave, near the Grand Central Parkway ramp, just after 1:30 pm, according to police.
The bicyclist was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.
The driver remained on the scene and was arrested for driving with a suspended drivers license.
Police have not released the identity of the driver or the bicyclist.

You can’t ALWAYS blame the driver. these cyclists think that they own the streets are are very reckless. I can’t tell you how many close calls I’ve had. Then they stare you down as if it’s your fault. We have bike lanes for a reason and they should stay in their lanes and should obey all traffic laws as drivers, but they don’t.
