Santa Claus will lead a family-friendly bike ride through Jackson Heights, Corona and East Elmhurst this Sunday.

The fourth annual Santa Claus Bike Ride will start and finish at Travers Park, located at 78th Street and 34th Avenue, near the Greenmarket. The 3-mile ride will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last about two hours. About 200 people have already registered for the free event.

Cyclists will follow the bike lanes on 34th Avenue to travel through the different neighborhoods.

The group will stop at Corona Plaza at 103rd Street and Roosevelt Avenue to enjoy hot chocolate, coffee and some treats.

Officers from the NYPD Precinct 115 will escort riders throughout the 3-mile journey to ensure the event is safe for kids to participate.

People of all ages are invited to embrace the festive spirit and come dressed in their best winter- and Christmas-themed costumes such as elves, reindeer, and snowmen.

The bike ride is hosted by Ciclistas Latinoamericanos de NY with the support of Citizens Committee of New York City, the Jackson Heights Beautification Group and Make Queens Safer.
