Teen Stabbed in Stomach on 7-Train Subway Platfrom

The police have released a photo of a man wanted for stabbing a 14-year-old boy in the stomach Wednesday on the 90th Street-Elmhurst subway platform (NYPD)

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the stomach on the subway platform in Elmhurst Wednesday, police said.

The boy had exited a Manhattan-bound 7 train at the 90 Street-Elmhurst Avenue stop at around 8:40 a.m. when he was approached by an unknown man on the platform who displayed a sharp object, according to police. The suspect, without saying a word, stabbed the teen in the abdomen. The perpetrator then fled the station in an unknown direction.

EMS responded and transported the boy to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition. The police have released a photo of the suspect.
