The two individuals wanted for a robbery and slashing that took place inside a Long Island City subway station on March 3 are also suspects in an armed robbery of a 13-year-old girl at a Corona playground that took place that same day.

The suspects, a male and a female, allegedly targeted the girl at around 6:45 a.m. inside Park of Americas playground, which is a block away from the 103rd Street Corona Plaza 7-train station.

The pair approached the girl, with the female suspect threatening to stab the child while demanding money. The teen gave the suspects her cell phone and ear pods. The duo then left the scene on foot.

The suspects then took off to the Court Square station where the woman punched a female rider in the face and took her cellphone at around 7:30 a.m. A Good Samaritan came to the victim’s aid but was slashed in the wrist by the male suspect with a sharp object.

Police have released video and photos of the suspects that were taken in Court Square.

The first suspect is described as a male, with a dark complexion and in his teens. He was last seen wearing a black hooded coat, black jeans and dark-colored sneakers.

The second individual is described as a female, with a dark complexion and in her teens. She was last seen wearing a black coat with a fur-lined hood, black jeans and tan boots.

Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
