Subway Masturbator Charged For Lewdness, Harassment On R Train

A New Jersey man was arrested for masturbating on the subway last month.

Haljilj Hodzic, 20, was arrested following his lewd actions on March 19, police said.

Hodzic put his hands in his pants and masturbated as he stared at a 33-year-old woman, while riding the Manhattan-bound R train. The incident occurred at 3:10 p.m., as the train entered the Elmhurst Avenue station.

He exited the subway in Manhattan.

Hodzic, who is from North Bergen, N.J., is being charged with public lewdness, disorderly conduct and harassment, according to the NYPD.
