Police are searching for an attacker who beat a man with a baseball bat in broad daylight in March.

The suspect allegedly struck a 43-year-old man in the body with a baseball bat and punched him in the face after a verbal dispute in front of Johnstone Supply, located at 27-01 Brooklyn Queens Expressway.

The assault occurred on March 25 at 4 p.m. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Police have released a surveillance video and photo of the suspect, who is described as a Hispanic male. He is between 20 and 25 years old, 6’ to 6’2” tall, 160 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweater, dark colored sweatpants and a white t-shirt.

Police are asking anyone with any information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
