Police Release Video of Armed Man Wanted for Forcing Woman to Perform Sex Act in Jackson Heights

June 26, 2021 By Christian Murray

Police have released video footage of a man who allegedly forced a 31-year-old woman at gunpoint to perform a sex act on him in Jackson Heights earlier this month.

The suspect approached the woman just after 2 a.m. on June 18 near 78th Street and Roosevelt Avenue and displayed a firearm, the NYPD said.

The man, according to police, allegedly walked the victim to the back of a home on 78th Street, where he talked and ate food with her—before he pulled out the gun and forced her to perform a sex act.

The attacker then swiped the woman’s bag, which had her wallet and cell phone inside, and fled, the NYPD said.

The victim was transported to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment in stable condition, police said.

Cops described the suspect as a Hispanic man with a goatee who was wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants, white sneakers and a black mask. He was also carrying a drawstring bag.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) or submit tips through the CrimeStoppers website.

Anybody wearing a sweatshirt with a hood on and sweatpants in 80+ degree weather, is already suspicious. If you see people like that, cross the street because they only mean trouble.

Three sought in armed robbery near Flushing Meadows Corona Park: NYPD

Police from the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst are looking for armed robbers who targeted a 26-year-old woman in Corona and remain at large nearly two weeks later.

Police say three strangers approached the woman as she walked near the Playground for All Children in Flushing Meadows Corona Park at Corona Avenue and Saultell Avenue at around 4:20 a.m. on Friday, July 12. One of the perpetrators allegedly pulled out a small silver revolver and threatened the victim, while the others forcibly removed two yellow gold necklaces worth $2,000, according to the police report; however, an NYPD spokesman said it is not clear if that was the value of both chains or each one individually.
