Permits have been filed for the construction of a 7-story mixed-use building at 58-25 Hoffman Dr. in Elmhurst.

Located between 58th Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard, this proposed building will be 74 feet tall and yield 104,828 square feet. Demolition permits have not yet been filed for the property. An estimated date of the building’s completion has not been provided.

Approximately 77,390 square feet will be reserved for residential space, which will consist of 92 total residences. With each residence having an average unit scope of 841 square feet, it is most likely that they will all be rental units.

In addition to the residential space, another 24,841 square feet will be devoted to community facility space. The remaining 2,597 square feet will be used as commercial space. Some of the building’s features will include a cellar, a 20-foot-long rear yard and 133 parking spaces.

The development site is situated within close proximity of the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station, which services the M and R trains.

Cord Meyer Development is listed as the owner of the building applications. The architect of record is listed as Gerner Kronick and Valcarcel Architecture.
