Michelin has released its picks for the 2020 Bib Gourmand award, a recognition designated to 133 restaurants this year where diners can eat quality food for a good value.

The list includes 17 restaurants located in Queens, spanning several neighborhoods including Long Island City, Astoria, Forest Hills, and Flushing.

Bellwether and Mu Ramen located in Long Island City received the Bib Gourmand designation once more.

Five Flushing restaurants also returned to the list—Tong Sam Gyup Goo Yi, Alley 41, Hunan Cafe, Hahm Ji Bach and Dumpling Galaxy, which is widely popular for it’s extensive selection of flavorful dumplings.

In the Astoria neighborhood, Mar’s and Gregory’s 26 Corner Taverna are on the list once more. Turkish bistro Lokanta, an Astoria establishment that serves home-style Turkish cuisine, was added to the list for the first time.

In Forest Hills, Memories of Shanghai and Spy C Cuisine, both found on Austin Street, were added this year.

Other restaurants awarded in the borough of Queens are Houdini Kitchen Laboratory in Ridgewood, Legend of Taste in Whitestone and three others in Elmhurst- Paet Rio, Pata Cafe and Sweet Yummy House.

The Bib Gourmand awards are given out each year, and are handed to quality restaurants where diners can enjoy two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for $40 or less.

Michelin is now in its 15th year presenting this award and has extended its reach to include Westchester County in newest edition.

The list is determined by anonymous Michelin inspectors who visit the restaurants in the course of applying their famous star rating system.

New York City Bib Gourmand restaurants are announced one week before the release of the highly anticipated star selection which is on Monday, October 21.

Since the French discriminate against everyone not French, we assume the ratings are on merit only. Since Trump supporters discriminate against knowledge, truth and logic you will be waiting a long time for someone to think your rancid comment witty.

Of course

THE RACIST organization that gives out these Michelin stars don’t choose Latino restuarants but do for white businesses because they’re white supremasists. We must BAN them from NYC NOW

Oh yes, ban, ban, ban. More power to the woke police! Who needs debate and facts when you can just use power to shut people down!

Where's the troll?

I can’t wait for the “what about Trump” troll to call Michelin a racist organization for not picking any Latino restaurants in Corona and Jackson Heights.

Three sought in armed robbery near Flushing Meadows Corona Park: NYPD

Police from the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst are looking for armed robbers who targeted a 26-year-old woman in Corona and remain at large nearly two weeks later.

Police say three strangers approached the woman as she walked near the Playground for All Children in Flushing Meadows Corona Park at Corona Avenue and Saultell Avenue at around 4:20 a.m. on Friday, July 12. One of the perpetrators allegedly pulled out a small silver revolver and threatened the victim, while the others forcibly removed two yellow gold necklaces worth $2,000, according to the police report; however, an NYPD spokesman said it is not clear if that was the value of both chains or each one individually.
