Police are searching for a man who committed an act of public lewdness on a subway train in Rego Park Sunday.

The suspect was riding a Brooklyn–bound R train at around 9:30 p.m. when he sat down opposite a 39-year-old female and displayed his genitals, according to police.

The train was near the 63rd Drive-Rego Park subway station at the time of the incident and the woman exited the train once it stopped, police said. The suspect remained on the train and exited at an unknown station.

The alleged pervert is aged between 20 and 30 years of age. He was wearing a green hoody and a black and grey colored facemask.

Police released a photograph of the suspect that was taken by the victim during the incident.
