Man Throws 70-Year-Old Woman to the Ground in Jackson Heights

The police are looking for a man who allegedly threw a 70-year-old woman to the ground behind a Jackson Heights apartment building last month.

The incident allegedly took place at around 8:15 p.m. on June 27 following an argument that broke out at the rear of a residential complex located at 78-12 35th Ave.

The victim and the suspect allegedly got into a verbal dispute that escalated, which led to the enraged man forcibly throwing the 70-year-old to the ground.

The woman sustained injuries to her elbows and knees and was transported to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.

The unidentified man fled on foot. Police have released photos and video of the suspect.
