Police are looking for a man who spat at and punched a woman in the head onboard a Manhattan-bound E train Thursday.
The man spat in the face of the 32-year-old woman as the train approached the 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue subway station just before 10 a.m. and began to run off, police said.
The woman chased him until he turned around and punched her in the forehead multiple times, according to police.
The man fled and the victim was treated at Elmhurst Hospital for pain in her head.

This is reprehensible. I hope this victim recovers well. Crime has skyrocketed on our subways, and thugs are rampant. Is this creep from a homeless shelter or someone who should have been behind bars? We need more police. We need stronger enforcement and consequences for criminals. Keeping our city safe must become a priority.
