Man shot dead in Jackson Heights/East Elmhurst last night

A man was shot dead on the border of Jackson Heights and East Elmhurst last night, according to police.

The victim, reportedly in his 20s, was shot in the head and upper torso at around 9:50 pm at 31-39 95th Street.

When police arrived on the scene the victim was unconscious and unresponsive. He was declared dead at Elmhurst General Hospital.

No arrests have made and the investigation is still on going.
