Man shot at Jackson Heights VFW Hall, in critical condition

A man is listed in critical condition after being shot inside the VFW Hall in Jackson Heights Friday night, police said.

The suspect entered the 98-03 Northern Boulevard hall at about 11:10 pm and then displayed and fired his gun. The victim, a 32-year-old male, was shot multiple times in the body.

EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.

The alleged suspect is described as being black, approximately 6’00”, 200lbs to 220lbs, wearing a white T-shirt and shorts.
