The Santander Bank branch on Roosevelt Avenue was robbed Tuesday, according to police.

The perpetrator entered the bank, located at 83-20 Roosevelt Avenue, at around 11:29 a.m. on May 28 and handed a note to the teller demanding money and stating that he had a firearm, police say.

The teller complied and the robber fled the bank with a total of around $2,908. The robber then walked south on Baxter Avenue and then east on Gleane Street.

Police say there were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described by police as male, Hispanic, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing  dark sunglasses, a blue hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball hat and tan pants.

In other news, NYPD continues to do nothing about the little gangsters on 79 and Roosevelt running lookouts from 8am till night. FYI they have expanded and now have lookouts on 78 and Roosevelt either near the tattoo shop or the 99 cent store across the street. They always have their phone ear piece in.
