Man Pushes Subway Rider to the Ground at Roosevelt/74th Street Station, Steals Cash

The police have released video footage of a man who pushed a 68-year-old straphanger to the ground Thursday inside the Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station and took cash from the victim’s hand.

The suspect allegedly targeted the man on the mezzanine of the E-line at around 4 p.m., Nov. 4—before pushing him to the ground and grabbing the cash. The victim was not injured and declined medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is described as a man who is approximately 30-years-old, with a light complexion, thin build, facial hair, and was last seen wearing a blue Champion hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and white sneakers.
