Man Points Gun at Brawling Straphangers on E Train Near Jackson Heights Saturday: NYPD

A man pointed a gun at two straphangers who were having a physical altercation on board a crowded Queens E train Saturday night.

The suspect spotted two people fighting on board a northbound E train at around 7:20 p.m. as it neared the 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue station in Jackson Heights.

He then pulled out a gun and pointed it at the pair before fleeing, police said. The police did not say what sparked the initial dispute and who was involved.

No shots were fired.

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills and Transit District 20 are looking for a man, who is built like an NFL player, for allegedly groping a 50-year-old woman as she waited for the subway near the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst on Monday morning.

The victim was standing on the southbound M/R platform at the 59th Avenue subway station on the Queens Boulevard line when a stranger approached her and touched her left buttocks, police said. The brute fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The woman was not injured during the incident.
