The police have arrested a California man who allegedly shot and killed a Queens man in North Corona in 2018.

Charles Williams, 35, of Carmichael, Calif., has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon for the Sept. 30, 2018 death of Daryl Whitfield, 26, of Jamaica.

The arrest comes nearly 3 years after police found Whitfield’s body with a gunshot wound to the head inside a car that was left at the AutoZone parking lot at 95-01 Northern Blvd.

Whitfield was reportedly found in the back seat of a BMW by an AutoZone employee. Police believe he was killed inside the parking lot.

Police nabbed Williams in California on Friday.
