Man Found Dead With Head Injuries Outside Elmhurst Bodega: NYPD

The police are investigating the death of a man found with head injuries outside an Elmhurst bodega this morning.

The NYPD responded to a 911 call at around 6:30 a.m. and found an unconscious man in front of 89-45 Elmhurst Ave. with head trauma. The man, believed to be Hispanic and in his 40s, was laying on the top of a basement staircase by the store.

EMS also responded to the 911 call and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The victim has yet to be identified. Police are conducting an investigation and no arrests have been made.
