Man Found Dead in Rear Yard of North Corona House Sunday: NYPD

A man was found dead in the rear yard of a North Corona home Sunday morning.

Police discovered the man’s body at 37-82 101 St. after responding to a 911 call at around 11:45 a.m., police said.

The man was laying on the ground behind the two-story wood-frame house, according to police.

Cops said the man was unconscious and unresponsive. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police believe the man may have been homeless and his name has not been released, pending family notification.

The Medical Examiner will ultimately determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
