A longstanding Astoria pizzeria and restaurant is expanding into Jackson Heights.

Sac’s Place Restaurant, which has been operating on Broadway since the late 1980s, announced last week that they will open a new location in Jackson Heights.

The new shop will be called Sac’s Place of Jackson Heights and will be located at 86-14 37th Ave. The shop will be a “classic pizzeria with delivery and take out only,” according to a newsletter the restaurant sent out on Thursday.

The owners will release more information on the restaurant on social media.

Sac’s Place, located at 25-41 Broadway, opened in 1989. The restaurant will be celebrating its 27th anniversary in August with “Throwback Thursdays,” where customers will receive 27 percent off their entire meal, excluding drinks, according to the newsletter.

The owners did not respond to a request for comment.

DNA Info first reported the opening.
