Knife-wielding man attempts to steal drugs from Corona pharmacy, police say

A knife-wielding man entered a Corona drug store on Wednesday, grabbed an employee and tried to get drugs, police said.

The suspect, brandishing a knife, entered Corona Heights Pharmacy, located at 106-07 Corona Avenue, grabbed a 64-year employee by his shirt and demanded prescription drugs to no avail. He then fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately 23-years of age, 5’9″, 170 lbs., last seen wearing dark clothing.
