Knife-Wielding Man Attempts to Invade 75-Year-Old Woman’s Elmhurst Residence on Christmas Day: NYPD

Police are looking for a man who attempted to invade the residence of a 75-year-old woman at knife point in Elmhurst on Christmas Day.

The knife-wielding suspect allegedly entered the elderly woman’s home—located in the vicinity of 51st Avenue and 90th Street—at around 9 a.m. The suspect was then chased away by a 69-year-old man.

Police said that there were no reported injuries, and nothing was taken. The NYPD did not provide any further details.

The NYPD released a video and photo of the suspect.
