An intoxicated cyclist struck a vehicle on Tuesday morning in Elmhurst.

The cyclist was riding in the opposite direction of traffic near 43rd Avenue and 94th Street, intoxicated, when he rode into a vehicle, according to the NYPD.

The cyclist was knocked off of the bicycle and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. He did not suffer any major injuries, according to police.

The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. Tuesday.

No arrests have been made, the NYPD said.

The number of grand larcenies across Queens was down during the 28-day period from March 18 to April 14, compared to the same period of time last year, according to the latest crime stats released by the NYPD Monday. At the same time, rapes and robberies decreased significantly in northern and southern Queens, respectively.
