April 7, 2022 By Allie Griffin

Police are searching for a group of 10 suspects who beat, stabbed and robbed a 16-year-old of his scooter in Jackson Heights last week.

The 10 males — who wore hoods, hats and face masks to cover their faces — knocked the boy off the scooter and took the bike, his iPhone, backpack and cash at around 3:45 p.m. on March 29, police said.

The teen was driving a two-wheeled scooter on the sidewalk near the corner of 37th Avenue and 82nd Street with two friends riding on the back when the band of 10 approached them and demanded he hand over the scooter.

The teen and his passengers attempted to flee but were chased by the group. The group punched, kicked and pushed them to the ground, police said.

The 16-year-old fell into the roadway, where one assailant repeatedly beat him and stabbed him once in the back.

One of his passengers, meanwhile, was kicked, shoved and hit by several of the attackers, a video released by the NYPD shows.

The group fled with the boy’s $1,300 scooter, $500 iPhone XR, backpack and $20 cash. They fled toward Roosevelt Avenue, police said.

A good Samaritan who was driving by took the 16-year-old to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). That’s not 82nd and 37. There are no residential buildings on 82 and 37. Where is it?

I hope our elected officials will start to take the crime wave in this city seriously and stop acting like if they ignore it, it will go away.

This neighborhood is part of
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez district.
All she cares about is the Green New Deal, which NO one in this district will be able to afford.
Her WOKE agenda and being soft on crime.
To the people in Jackson Heights, remember this when it comes time to vote.

Note:
When you see a pack of guys/girls walking with faces and heads completely covered, you already know they’re up top no good. The Police should notice these patterns and stop these people and question them before things happen.
