The body of a man who had been missing for more than a week was found floating in a lake at Alley Pond Park Thursday.
Khiron Anderson, from Bayside, was discovered in the water by a passer-by at Oakland Lake in Alley Pond Park at around 12:45 p.m., police said
Police were called to the scene – near the corner of 46th Ave. and Cloverdale Blvd. – and found the 24-year-old unresponsive. They then removed him from the lake.
EMS pronounced Anderson dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner is determining the cause of death and an investigation is ongoing, the NYPD said.
Anderson, who is from 223rd Street, had been reported missing on Sept. 22, police said.
The police did not provide any other information.

That’s not true my brother died in that lake in 1980 so why are they saying there were only a death years later
Heart breaking. I saw his parents there for days waiting with hope. Seemed like fine people and beautiful parents. So sad.
