Driver Crashes Van Into Woodside Real Estate Office Wednesday Morning

A man crashed his van into a Woodside real estate office on Roosevelt Avenue this morning but walked away unscathed.

The 36-year-old drove the van into Wagner & Kelly Real Estate, located at 60-01 Roosevelt Ave, at around 8:20 a.m., after losing control of the vehicle, according to police.

The driver told police that the gas pedal of the van got pinned down causing him to crash through the front door of the building.

There was nobody inside the premises or walking on the sidewalk when the crash occurred, police said.

The driver did not sustain any injuries although there was damage done to the property.

Witnesses saw the driver’s airbag activated as a result of the incident.

No arrests have been made and police are treating the incident as an accident.
