A brazen arsonist threw a Molotov cocktail into an apartment in Flushing early Wednesday causing a 2- alarm fire that left four people injured – in what cops say was a drug-related incident.

The suspect climbed the fire escape of a residential building, located at 34-15 Parsons Blvd., at around 4:45 a.m. and smashed a window of a sixth-floor unit, police said.

He then hurled a bottle containing a flammable liquid through the broken window and into the apartment, which sparked a fire, according to police.

The blaze spread through the apartment and up into the seventh floor – damaging three units in total, police said.

Firefighters arrived on the scene a short time later and got the flames under control at around 5:50 a.m., the FDNY said.

Two FDNY firefighters suffered smoke inhalation while two unidentified victims were hurt with non-life-threatening injuries, police and FDNY officials said. The four victims were transported to local area hospitals.

Nobody inside the targeted apartment was injured, police said.

Police believe the suspect is a drug associate of one, or two men who live at the targeted apartment. Sources say the incident was likely a revenge attack for a drug deal gone bad.

No arrests have been made in relation to the fire, police said.

The Fire Marshal will ultimately determine the cause of the fire and the investigation is ongoing, the FDNY said.
