A new affordable housing lottery has opened with 31 units on offer in a large Flushing development

The units, located at 144-74 Northern Blvd., include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Applicants have until June 15 to apply and units will be awarded to qualified tenants via a lottery.

Studios will start at $1,750 per month, with two-bedroom units going for $2,400 per month.

The building, which is seven stories and contains 100 apartments, is located near the 7 train and LIRR. The site was a former Burger King.

The new building, called The Urban, boasts a rooftop deck and includes other amenities such as a lounge, fitness center and bike storage.

Parking is also available at an additional cost. The development will include an underground parking garage with 139 spaces—as well as an additional 33 spaces on an adjacent lot.

Seven studio apartments are available for $1,750 per month for individuals making between $60,000 and $97,110, and two-person households earning up to $111,020.

The largest share of units on offer are one-bedroom lots with a total of 14 available. All of these units are being offered for $1,950 per month. To qualify individual renters must make between $66,858 and $97,110. Households of two can have an income up to $111,020 and households of three can go up to $124,930.

There are 10 two-bedroom units on offer, with five going for $2,300 per month and the other five for $2,400. The units are available to households between two to five people. Income requirements begin at $78,858 ,680 and top off at $149,890 for a household of five.

Tenants will be responsible for electricity not water and heat.

Preference will be given to applicants who are already residents of New York City, with additional preference given to those with mobility, vision, or hearing impairments.
