Man Beaten and Robbed on 35th Avenue Monday: NYPD

The police have released video footage of two suspects who allegedly assaulted and robbed a man in Jackson Heights earlier this week.

The suspects, both men, approached the 52-year-old victim in the vicinity of 92nd St. and 35th Av. on Monday, Feb. 17, at around 4:20 a.m.

The suspect’s punched and kicked the victim multiple times causing him to fall to the ground.

They then stole a cellphone from the victim’s pants pocket before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained bruising and swelling to the face but refused medical attention, according to police.

Anyone with information in regard to the identities of the individuals is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
