And AOC who has no clue about reality and just criticizes everything and everybody, is saying that police officers aren’t needed on the subways and platforms? Is that what she thinks while she’s riding in her chauffered car, while she gets to ride in bus lanes and park where taxpayers are not allowed to park unless they want to pay the ransom known as muni meters?

Why does the Radical Right want everything to be PC?

I’m sorry she hurt your feelings.

Comparing parking meters to a kidnapper’s ransom makes you seem like a very stable genius though.

What’s the big deal. This man was simply exercising his first amendment right to freedom of speech.

Ok...

I agree, Trump lovers use racist dog whistles and fear-mongering about “muh immigrants.”

That’s not illegal. Thanks for pointing that out?

Is this the new norm ?
Assaults & sexual attacks on the trains & platform ?
How could the mayor say crime is going down ?
Why won’t Jessica Ramos and A.O.C do something about the increased in crime ?

And Jessica Ramos and AOC still believe having those extra 500 officers is not a good idea. Do either of them actually know what goes on in Jackson Heights ? ? . They sure promised a lot before they got voted .

The suspect was a republican

No mention of him being an immigrant at all. Strange thing to mention. Imagine being so gullible!

Op-Ed | Hochul: Action is Imperative on Shoplifting, but Violent Crime is Just Fine

Apr. 29, 2024 By Council Member James F. Gennaro

Negotiations regarding the New York State budget have just concluded a few days ago and a budget has passed after more than two weeks of delays. But while Gov. Kathy Hochul has proclaimed this year’s ‘bold agenda’ aims to make New York ‘safer,’ there hasn’t been so much as a whisper about the safety issue New Yorkers actually care about – New York States’s dangerous bail reform laws and the State’s absence of a ‘dangerousness standard,’ which would allow judges to detain without bail those defendants that pose a present a clear and present danger to our communities. (The 49 other states and the federal government have a dangerousness standard. NY State is the only state that lacks this essential protection from the State’s most dangerous offenders.)
