80-year-old Jackson Heights Man is Missing, Cops want help finding him

Police are searching for an 80-year-old man who went missing yesterday.

Humberto Medina, 80, was last seen at around 1 pm Wednesday inside a Manhattan bound 7-train at the 82nd Street/Roosevelt Ave subway station, according to police.

He is described as a male, Hispanic, 5’11” tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes, partially bald with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue baseball cap, light blue T-shirt, black slacks and brown shoes, according to the NYPD.

Medina lives on 81st Street.

Police have released two photos and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

Masked gunman robs Total Wireless store in Flushing, steals $6K: NYPD

Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a masked gunman who pulled off an armed robbery at a cell phone store on the night of Monday, May 5.

The suspect entered the Total Wireless shop located in the old Hua Cheng Restaurant at 41-19 Kissena Blvd., across the street from the Queens Public Library branch, just before 7 p.m. He approached the counter, pulled out a firearm, and threatened the 27-year-old woman who was working the night shift, police said Wednesday.
