A 70-year-old man died Thursday three days after he was struck by a vehicle on Northern Boulevard, police said.

Genci Frasheri, a Whitestone resident, was hit by a motorist at around 2:54 p.m. on Monday while crossing 158th Street at Northern Boulevard.

Police say Frasheri was struck by a driver of a 2021 BMW who was making a left turn from Northern Boulevard onto 158th Street. It isn’t clear whether the driver had the light.

Frasheri was transported to NY Hospital Queens where he was pronounced dead yesterday.

The driver, a 34-year-old man, was not injured and remained at the scene.

The investigation is being conducted by NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad and there have been no arrests.
