33-Year-Old Elmhurst Man Missing: NYPD

A 33-year-old man from Elmhurst was reported missing Monday, police said. 

Andrea Zamperoni was last seen at his home on 74th Street on Monday, Aug. 19 at around noon. He is described as a white, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. It isn’t clear what he was wearing when last seen, according to police. 

The NYPD has released the above photo of Zamperoni.

Man wanted in sexual abuse case involving 12-year-old girl inside Elmhurst supermarket: NYPD

The NYPD’s Queens Child Abuse Squad is investigating a sexual abuse case involving a 12-year-old girl in Elmhurst on Thursday afternoon.

Police from the 110th Precinct reported that the youngster was inside a supermarket at 82-66 Broadway across the street from Moore Homestead Playground when a stranger approached her, touched the victim’s buttocks and then exited the location on foot in an unknown direction. The girl was not injured during the encounter, police said Friday.
