Mar. 6, 2024 By Czarinna Andres Revel, the electric vehicle company that focuses on EV transit and charging hubs, has inked a lease agreement in East Elmhurst to develop the nation’s largest airport EV fast charging station adjacent to LaGuardia Airport (LGA). The charging station is slated to go up at 90-10 Ditmars Blvd., where the Courtyard by Marriott LaGuardia hotel is located, and will feature 48 200kW charging stalls that will be available to the public. Feb. 28, 2024 By Christian Murray The number of felony assaults reported across Queens over the last month are up nearly 10% compared to the same period a year ago, according to the latest crime stats released by the NYPD on Feb. 26. During the 28-day period from Jan. 29 to Feb. 25, the number of felony assaults reported increased 9.6% in northern Queens, from 197 incidents last year to 216 this year.
