82nd Street BID to Host Tree Lighting at Dunningham Triangle Tonight

The 82nd Street Partnership will host their second annual holiday tree lighting tonight.

The community event will take place at Dunningham Triangle, located at 82nd Street and Baxter Avenue, at 4:30 p.m.

The tree lighting will feature a performance by the Urzua Queens Choir, a local performing arts school dedicated to the spread of the creative arts in Queens, as well as hot chocolate and a visit from Santa.

The event is free, and made possible by Council Member Daniel Dromm, local businesses and other organizations.

Tree lighting?, Holiday Tree lighting? Call it what it is you silly fools.
Its a Christmas Tree. Its to celebrate that national holiday called Christmas, the birth celebration of the Christ child. Are you really so offended by that.
