An unidentified adult man was stabbed to death on an Elmhurst street corner last night.

Police responding to a 911 call found the man lying on the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 80th Street at around 9:41 p.m. The man had stab wounds to his upper torso, police said.

Police apprehended a suspect, 32, who was apparently also injured in the incident. A knife was also found on the scene.

Both the victim and the suspect were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead. The suspect is now in stable condition, police said.

Police said that they have a “tentative” ID of who the victim is–but have yet to confirm it.

Police said that the suspect’s name has not yet been released as charges are still pending.

That is completely crazy… I frequent that area.. go to the bars with friends often and I wonder if this was the result of too much alcohol.. point blank .

Again, we need a Business Improvement District to clean up Roosevelt Avenue from these undesirable people. Seedy streets, bars, underground brothels bring nothing good but crime.
