A Corona ice cream shop that specializes in rolled ice cream has opened a new store in Elmhurst— where, for the first time, it is also serving burgers.

Igloo Rolls opened a new ice cream shop at 40-09 82nd St. on July 6. Like the original location, the Igloo Rolls shop serves milkshakes laden with zany toppings, waffles, french toast and Thai-style rolled ice cream— but for the first time, the eatery is also offering burgers and fries.

The business opened its first location at 102-18 39th Avenue in Corona in Aug. 2016, and has since become a local destination for trendy ice cream treats.

Igloo Rolls’ rolled ice cream treats come with a wide variety of toppings, and guests are invited to try as many as they like.

Specialty rolled ice cream cups include “Horchanata,” which is served with horchata and banana; “Rainbow,” topped with kiwi, blueberry, pineapple, raspberry and blackberry, and “Tiramisu,” served with a tiramisu cake slice and vanilla.

The shop is open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. from Friday to Sunday.

The location is about half a block from the 82nd St. (7) subway station.
