A 27-year-old Bronx man has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the fatal stabbing of a Woodside man under the elevated tracks at the 90th Street–Elmhurst station in 2013.

Steve Torres, 27, was found guilty of second degree murder last month for killing Ever Orozco, 69, of Woodside on Sept. 16, 2013 at around 1 p.m., according to the Queens District Attorney’s office.

Orozco was stabbed multiple times shortly after he dropped off his wife at a nearby doctor’s office and parked his car near the station.

There were numerous witnesses to the slaying and one person took a photo of Torres as he was running away, according to the District Attorney’s office.

Orozco was pronounced dead at Elmhurst General Hospital.

“The defendant violently and furiously stabbed an innocent bystander,” said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown in a statement. “The sentence imposed by the court today is more than warranted to punish this defendant for this horrific crime and protect society.”

The Truth.

“Violently and furiously stabbed an innocent bystander”, said the Queens District Attorney.
The savage animal that did this should be executed & not be given 25 to life . He will claim to have found Jesus and that he changed and will only do the minimum time , meanwhile the family he destroyed is still left without a husband , father, etc.

Savage animal.
