Permits Filed for 7-Story, 35 Unit Building in Elmhurst

A developer filed permits Wednesday to construct a 7-story mixed use building in Elmhurst.

The building is slated to go up on a vacant lot at 91-23 Corona Ave. and will consist of 35 residential units and 4,500 square feet of ground floor retail space. The apartments will be located on floors two through seven totaling 28,497 square feet.

The development includes 22 enclosed parking spaces and eight spaces behind the building. There will be 18 bicycle parking spaces.

The site was once home to an auto repair shop.

Apollo Development Group is listed as the property owner, with Tan Architects the designer.
