A developer has filed plans to build an 8-story mixed-use apartment building that to go up next to the Holiday Inn LaGuardia Airport in Corona.

The 70-foot-tall building would be located at 37-10 114th St. and house 90 apartment units and an ambulatory medical center.

The building would be 173,909 square feet, with 623 square feet dedicated to a community facility,
92,217 square feet of commercial space and 81,069 square feet of residential space.

The structure would feature a 58 space parking garage in the cellar and 7 exterior parking spaces. A bicycle room will also be located in the cellar.

A diagnostic or treatment facility and 10 apartment units would be located on the basement floor. A recreational area for tenants will be constructed on the roof.

The location is about four blocks from the 111st (7) subway station, and is less than one mile from Citi Field. The property is also eight blocks from the New York Hall of Science.
