NYPD: Man Falls to his Death Near 74th Street Station

A 39-year-old man fell to his death from a subway beam near the 74th Street Station in Jackson Heights early this morning.

The man was reportedly walking along the beam and fell onto the street, NBC New York reported. Emergency responders arrived at around 2:25 a.m, and the man was pronounced dead on the scene, police say.

Service for the 7 train between Queensboro Plaza and Flushing-Main Street was suspended for about two hours, according to the MTA.

The police did not release the man’s identity. The investigation is ongoing.

Someone is always drunk or passed out at that station , on the platform or by the stairs .
74 street station in Jackson Heights smells like vomit and urine, one of the dirtiest station in JH.
