A nine-story mixed-use building will go up at 37-32 89th Street in Jackson Heights, according to permits filed with the Dept. of Buildings.

The building will contain 24 residential units and have seven available parking spaces. A “community facility center” will be located on the first floor of the structure.

The building will be 80 feet tall and 27,241 square feet. Of this space, 17,178 square feet will be for residential use and 3,643 square feet will be for commercial/community facility use.

The site is less than two blocks from the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue subway station.

A demolition permit for the existing building, a two-story single family home, was filed on Nov. 29.

Fuzhou Development is developing the site, and Li Architect Associate is designing the building.
