NYPD: Police Release Video of 5 Teens Stealing from Jackson Heights Cellphone Store

Five teenage boys are wanted by the police for allegedly stealing cellphones from two Roosevelt Avenue stores.

The teenagers allegedly entered 86-05 Roosevelt Ave. on Thursday, Dec. 21 and forcibly took two cellphones with an estimated value of $1,450, according to police.

The teenagers allegedly struck again the following day, targeting the T-Mobile store at 82-19 Roosevelt Ave. The suspects forcibly removed one cellphone valued at $1,088.

Video from the T-Mobile theft has been released.

No injuries were reported in either incidents.

The suspects are black and in their late teens.

Send the video out to middle and high schools. They will recognize. One of them is very close up and clear face.

East Elmhurst man busted for a fatal collision in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on the 4th of July: NYPD

A Queens grand jury indicted an East Elmhurst man in connection to a July 4th fatal collision at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

Yersson Diaz, 27, of Ericsson Street just south of LaGuardia Airport, appeared at Queens Criminal Court for a summons on Tuesday and was taken into custody, according to an NYPD spokeswoman. He was booked Tuesday afternoon at the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst, where he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
