NYPD Looking for Police Impersonator Who Allegedly Stole Woman’s Wallet from Jackson Height’s Nightclub

The NYPD is looking for a man who allegedly claimed to be a cop in order to steal a woman’s wallet from a Jackson Heights nightclub last month.

The fake cop– who was accompanied by another man–went inside Amor Night Club, located at 78-01 Roosevelt Ave., on Thursday, Nov. 16 at around 12:45 a.m. and demanded the woman’s wallet after saying he was a police officer and displayed a shield.

The victim, 34, complied.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150

pounds and having a medium build. He was last seen wearing black shirt, blue jeans, beige shoes and eyeglasses.

The suspect’s partner in crime is also described as Hispanic and was last seen wearing light colored pants, a hoody sweater, jacket and a cap placed backwards on head.

Police released surveillance video and photos today.
