NYPD: Man in critical condition after being stabbed in Elmhurst last night

A man was stabbed in the chest in Elmhurst last night and then walked half a mile to Elmhurst hospital Monday night, police said.

The victim, 35, was attacked on MacNish Street near Elmhurst Avenue about 9 p.m., according to the NYPD. The man then managed to walk to Elmhurst Hospital where he was rushing into surgery.

Police say that he is in critical condition and has yet to be interviewed about the attack.

No arrests have been made.

Terrible reporting. Did you forget to mention that there was another victim shortly after this stabbing, who was slashed in the neck? He was interviewed by Pix11. The danger is much greater than this.

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills and Transit District 20 are looking for a man, who is built like an NFL player, for allegedly groping a 50-year-old woman as she waited for the subway near the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst on Monday morning.

The victim was standing on the southbound M/R platform at the 59th Avenue subway station on the Queens Boulevard line when a stranger approached her and touched her left buttocks, police said. The brute fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The woman was not injured during the incident.
