NYPD: Two men knock 89-year-old to the ground in Jackson Heights, steal his keys

Two men knocked an 89-year-old man to the ground, stole his keys and then fled the scene of the crime in Jackson Heights Saturday, police said.

The suspects approached the senior on the corner of 83rd Street and 35th Avenue at about 4:45 pm on Sept. 16, knocked him to the ground and took his keys.

The elderly man was treated for bruising and is in stable condition.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with stars and has a tattoo on the back of his neck, police said. The other man is described as light skinned, and was wearing camouflage pants and a black du-rag.
