NYPD: Man robbed inside elevator at Roosevelt Ave/74th Street subway station

The police are looking for two suspects who allegedly robbed a man inside an elevator at the Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street subway station on August 12.

At approximately 4:54 p.m., the pair—a man and a woman–followed the 51-year-old victim into the elevator and demanded money.

When the victim said he didn’t have any, the man pushed him and grabbed his cellphone. The pair left the elevator and disappeared out of the station.

The male suspect is believed to be Hispanic, in his 20s, 6 foot and about 160 pounds. He was wearing a black and tan backpack, a red and black t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

The woman is believed to be black, in her 20s, 5 foot and approximately 150 pounds. Her hair was in an Afro, and she was wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information is being asked to call NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

Too bad he didn’t bump into the wrong victim and took some metallic object …Karma…maybe one day !
