Man found dead at Elmhurst Avenue Station on Saturday, police say

A 33-year-old man was found dead at the Elmhurst Avenue train station yesterday.

Police were called to the station at around 10:30 am and found an unconscious and unresponsive man lying on the platform of the ‘R’ line. When EMS responded they pronounced him dead on the scene.

The cause of death has yet to be determined by the medical examiner and an investigation is ongoing.

The deceased has been named as Javier Morocho from Brooklyn.
