Man beaten and robbed at Roosevelt Ave/Broadway subway station, police say

A man was beaten and robbed inside a bathroom at the Roosevelt Avenue/Broadway station earlier the month, police said.

Three suspects went inside the bathroom on the mezzanine level and punched and kicked the 30-year-old victim, before stealing his wallet, which contained $50 in cash, a debit card and Metrocard. The victim’s eye was swollen as a result of the incident and he was taken to an area hospital.

But no worries the cops upstairs are keeping us safe harrasing folks to open their knapsacks and bags. Heaven forbid they actually do any work and PATROL with their feet. Same thing with most of Jackson Heights. The cops suddenly can’t be bothered to actually patrol the neighborhood anymore. Crime us up in Jackson Heights. I blame the lack of Police patrol in favor of using our police to collect fines and tickets and harass in the process.
